It is extremely important to properly configure your WiFi router in high density housing (apartments, condos, etc). Improper configuration can lead to slow internet speeds & connectivity issues. How do I receive the fastest internet speed?

You will experience the fastest internet speeds by connecting your computer directly into the wall jack. You can install a network switch to create multiple wired connections from your wall jack.

How do I improve my WiFi speed?

WiFi speeds can vary greatly based on the type of WiFi router installed & the frequency on which your WiFi broadcasts the internet. You will see an increase in internet speed by using a wireless AC router with 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz frequencies. High density apartments can present WiFi challenges due to signal congestion. Changing your WiFi channel to a less used frequency can make a big difference. You can change the channel by logging into your routers administration console. I don’t have any WiFi internet connectivity, what should I do?

Plug your computer directly into the wall jack to verify connectivity. If the internet is working with a direct wired connection to your computer, please reset your WiFi router. If this does not resolve your issue, please refer to your manufacturer’s user guide.
